serial port communication

Hi,
i have trouble establishing a serial communication between DNP and another device.
My DNP: DNP5280 with SK13 Rev 1.1 and uCLinux.
My other device uses following serial settings: 8N1 with baud 9600.
I connected this device to DNP COM1 and COM2. With default image on COM1 i receive no data. With WOC image on both COM1 and COM2 all bytes i receive are 0 (i receive around 13 bytes). Same device connected to a PC that runs Windows or Linux (i tested both) works perfectly. If i change the baud rate on PC side (to be 57600 for example) i also receive 0 bytes (it behaves exactly like DNP).
On DNP side i tried many baud rates, i even try other flow controls and for any setting i make DNP behave the same (like it didn't recognize my changes).
Serial communication library was written in C and was tested on a linux based PC.
