|

Hi!
I have more DNP5280 microcontrollers with Eva2 ver 1.1 development board.
I have only first serial port (COM1 on Windows) outputed.
I have a device that outputs data using BAUD 9600. I connected this device to a PC (using Linux and Windows), on DNP COM1 and DNP COM2.
On PC all things works fine.
On DNP COM1 (with default image) it detects that serial port has data but no bytes are received.
On DNP COM2 it detects data but it receives only bytes with value 0.
I flashed the DNP image and put one without serial interface. Using this image on COM1 it behave exactly like on COM2.
Can somebody help me? |

Hello.
The DNP/EVA2 as part of the DNP/SK13 offers no connector and RS232 interface circuit for the DNP/5280 COM2 interface. This means, you have to expand the DNP/EVA2 hardware first with the COM2 support parts (RS232 driver, Sub-D connector …) over the wire-wrap area. Please check your hardware expansion. Maybe your RS232 add-on is the reason.
