Hallo Forum.

Was muss ich in Zukunft tun?

Hallo,
I followed these instructions to upgrade our kernel image for new SSV9200 hw revision 2.1.
Everything seems to work, but I noticed that writing into flash is noticebly slower than in previous hw revision. For example writing 1MB (jffs filesystem is used there) takes about 80 seconds, while on previous hw it was only about 20 seconds!
In system log there is huge amount of warnings "DQ5 raised while program operation was in progress, however operation completed OK" and there is also a report when driver starts "cfi_cmdset_0002: Disabling fast programming due to code brokenness".
Are these reports something to warry about? Is there any new version of this device driver rather than the one contained in 2.4.27 linux?

Thank you for any information

The CFI command interface 0002 has no support for fast write in kernel 2.4.x

Please use kernel 2.6.x. There the fast write for CFI commands 0002 are supported.

Ok, regardless of lower write speed in 2.4. kernel - can I ignore those messages?
"DQ5 raised while program operation was in progress, however operation completed OK"
"cfi_cmdset_0002: Disabling fast programming due to code brokenness"

Thank you

Hallo Forum.
