|

Hello all,
I understand that the 9265 does not support a real-time clock (by which I mean a clock with a battery that keeps time even when the unit is off). We need this as our units are turned off and on regularly and booting up to 1 Juyl 2009 every time is annoying
Have I missed the RTC on the 9265? What do I do to turn it on?
Has anyone fitted an RTC to the 9265? What did you use? Was it successful?
Is there another member of the DNP range with the features of 9265 + RTC? (It seems not).
thanks for any help,

Hi Chris.
The problem is the DIL/NetPC 40-pin footprint. There is no battery input pin for supplying the RTC with a backup voltage.
Only DIL/NetPCs with 64- and 128-pin footprints offers a battery input pin and a RTC.
