May Sales Offer: Starter Kit DNP/SK29-MB

Until the 30. June 2010 SSV offers with the DNP/SK29-MB (consisting of the DIL/NetPC DNP/2486 and the Evaluation Board DNP/EVA11-SV1) an immediately usable Starter Kit with preinstalled Modbus demo for only EUR 149,-*.

The Starter Kit offers a complete Modbus TCP demo with client and server, which is based on the original Modbus TCP toolkit of the Modbus Organization. Thus the DNP/2486 implementation is 100% compliant and extensively tested. The DNP/2486 Modbus client is implemented as a CGI program for the DNP/2486 Web server. This generates a Modbus-to-HTTP-proxy resp. gateway, which allows accessing Modbus-TCP-I/O components with the Web browser. So it is e.g. also possible to access Modbus-I/Os with an iPhone Web browser.

You Need More Pins? The eSOM/9263 Has Them!

Some tasks are not solvable with a 40- or 64-pin DIL/NetPC because of the relatively small number of pins there are not enough connections to other parts of a circuit.

One solution in this case could be a member of the eSOM-200 family. With overall 200 pins both FX8C connectors of an eSOM (embedded System-On-Module) allow - beside the typical DIL/NetPC pin functions - to offer bus signals, an LCD interface with touchscreen controller as well as additional I/O functions. The module dimensions of an eSOM-200 family member are compact 80 x 50 mm. The power supply is 3.3 VDC.
