Lecture "10 Years Embedded Linux - How Will It Go On?"

At October 15, 2008 the trade magazine DESIGN & ELEKTRONIK stages the developer forum "Embedded Linux". We support this event with a lecture. Within the context of this lecture it is shown how to realize a life cycle of more than 20 years for 32-bit computer modules. The DIL/NetPC DNP/1486 as well as the upcoming DNP/2486 will serve as examples.

Manuals for the CP/465

The manuals for the PC/104-Plus Single Board Computer CP/465 are now available in the Internet. This computer is based on a 32-bit networking processor Intel® IXP465, which runs @533 MHz. It offers 256 MB SDRAM and 32 MB NOR Flash memory. Beside the 2x 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN interfaces there are numerous further peripheral functions available. A Linux is already preinstalled in the Flash.

In addition Klaus-Dieter Walter gives a lecture about "M2M Communication - From the Sensor to the Web Portal" on the congress.
