ZigBee Mesh Networking ModemRight now the brand new Mod/Zbee1 is available. This compact modem module allows the set up of wireless mesh networks on basis of the IEEE 802.15.4- and ZigBee specifications. Networks with mesh structures are ideally suited for measurement data transfer. In compliance with a DIL/NetPC it is possible to create a modulare ZigBee-to-Ethernet gateway to connect a wireless sensor network with the IP-based IT world. Thus e.g. wireless data of a condition monitoring application can be sent easily to the SQL server of an MES- or ERP application. |
