NEW: ECoMS – Solution for the Energy Efficiency Monitoring in the Production

The EU directive 2006/32/EG, aiming to achieve 9 % final energy saving until 2017, requires also in the manufacturing scenery lasting improvements relating to energy efficiency.

The industrial terminal TRM/816 offers at this stage an interface, to record consumption values of particular machines. The recorded data is condensed and stored in the integrated data base of the terminal and is forwarded to superior PPS-, MES- and ERP systems.

As a result the operator receives job-oriented key figures for the actual energy usage, which provide at the same time a basis to take energy saving steps.

NEW: MGW/920 – IP-Gateway for Smart Metering and M2M Applications

With the MGW/920 SSV presents an IP gateway, which provides simply, securly and quickly most different kinds of data for M2M- or AMR (Automatic Meter Reading)applications.

Depending on the customers preferences and the local circumstances the MGW/920 allows the access via the analog, ISDN- or GSM telephone network, the GPRS data service or DSL.

By means of the integrated M-Bus master interface and the possibility to install different software modules (like e.g. a firewall and VPN module), the MGW/920 is ideal to simply control measurands or consumption flows via a secured gateway – whenever you want!

NEW: DNP/5370 with Python Interpreter

For the Blackfin-based DIL/NetPC DNP/5370 a Python interpreter is available on an MMC card. The card is just inserted into the SD/MMC slot and is immediatly usable.

Python is a mighty object oriented interpreter language with a wide spectrum of functions. Network- and web-oriented applications are much faster realized with Python as in comparison with C/C++.
