	Wireless Interfaces for ADNP/9200 in Development The DIL/NetPC ADNP/9200 provides an ESL connector (ESL = Expansion Sandwich Layer) which can be equipped with different ESL-Boards. So the ADNP/9200 can be integrated optional into wireless IEEE 802.15.4 (ZigBee), Bluetooth or Wi-Fi networks (IEEE 802.11-conform wireless LANs). To expand the applicability of the ADNP/9200 as a universal Ethernet-to-Wireless gateway, the development of a GSM/GPRS expansion was started in the mean time. Thus the ADNP/9200 will be in future also a basis to access industrial Ethernet networks via GPRS. Because of the integrated Linux it is possible to add own applications which e.g. control or modify the data transfer between the LAN- and the wireless interface. 	Events in October On October 10, 2007 the DESIGN & ELEKTRONIK developer forum about "Embedded Linux" took place in the Novotel at the trade fair in munich. The CEO and Product Development Manager of the SSV Software Systems GmbH, Mr. Klaus-Dieter Walter, delivered a much-noticed lecture about the development of an Embedded Linux for a gateway. The lecture showed by means of a concrete example the technical possibilities, the realisation and the end result. But also the typical problems during the integration came up.
