ADNP/9200 as Universal Gateway

The DIL/NetPC ADNP/9200 was developed for special gateway tasks in the point of intersection of different networks. It allows for example to couple specifically two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LANs, including the packet filter (firewalling) on the TCP/IP level.
For such tasks there are two MAC- and PHY controllers independently of each other. Both LAN interfaces are configurable with own MAC- and IP addresses. Furthermore the ADNP/9200 has on top a special expansion connector for WSN connections (WSN = Wireless Sensor Network). On this connector can be mounted for example IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.11/WiFi/WLAN or GSM/GPRS expansions.

Configuring HMI Applications via XML

The creation of an HMI (Human-Machine Interface) in the industrial environment requires so far a more or less extensive software development. Therefore well-trained experts are necessary.
With the new developed XML CP (XML Code Processor) for the PC-based industrial terminals of the TRM family even complex HMI applications can be created easily via XML. Special know-how is not required. That means for you: To create your own application you must not program! You create merely an XML configuration file on your PC, load it over a LAN connection in the industrial terminal and execute there your "HMI program".
