The Tux/Stick accommodates a 32-bit microcontroller with Embedded Linux and serves as gateway between a host PC and different networks. For this it has a miniature plug that provides the signals of a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN interface, one SPI interface, an USB host interface as well as an UART interface for the connection to serial devices.

Com/PC series acts as Reverse Proxy

The Embedded Gateway Linux 2 (EGL/2) of the Com/PC series offers a wide spectrum of possible applications. Among others the Com/PCs can easily be used as "Reverse Proxy". In this operating mode unprotected Embedded Web server in automation components can be completely shielded against unauthorized access from the in- and outside. This can happen by the use of HTTPS or with summarizing several Web servers under one single IP address. In this case the access takes place via several port numbers.

The brandnew TRM/416 comes as PC system completely with display and waterproof keyboard into paperback size - alternatively as housing version or prepared for the installation into machines and automats.
The programming is easy and can happen under DOS and Linux. Extensive interfaces such as Industrial Ethernet, IP Networking, CAN, serial and on-board digital I/O make the system unique and allow the connection of arbitrary in- and output devices.
