Would it be possible configure both OpenVPN client and server at the same time?
What I intended to do is the followin scenario:
IGW LAN1 connected to a RemoteLAN (IP=192.168.1.x netmask=255.255.255.0)
My laptop is connected to MyLan (IP=192.168.136.1, netmask=255.255.255.0)
I want to connect to the RemoteLAN in the following way:
1. IGW connects to an OpenVPN server "MyBigOpenVPNServer" usng its OpenVPN client and gets a new TAP interface (e.g. 10.1.1.1).
2. My laptop does the same, and connects to the same "MyBigOpenVPNServer" usng its OpenVPN client and gets a new TAP interface (e.g. 10.1.1.2).
3. My laptop connects to the OpenVPN server in IGW922 and receive a new TAP interface to the RemoteLAN (e.g. 192.168.1.234, netmask 255.255.255.0)
Would it be possible?
.

If your Laptop and the IGW is connected on the same VPN-Server, then you only need to allow client-to-client connections on the server, and the Laptop can access the IGW over the "MyBigOpenVPNServer".
The other way would be possible, but you can only configure it self by hand, because the Web Configuration can't do this. _________________ Henry Nestler |
