Remote Access Gateway IGW/800

With the IGW/800, Ethernet-able devices and automation components can be bound with RS232 and/or RS485 interfaces in an existing TCP/IP network without large expenditure. Thanks to the free programmability and to the pre-installed Embedded Linux as OS, the IGW/800 covers effectively a multiplicity of different application areas. The 24 VDC power supply of the IGW/800 is made by screws - the annoying and time-consuming crimping of plug connectors is thereby avoided.

Always up to date

For comfortable monitoring the IGW/800 has 3 port-LEDS, which can be freely occupied and signalize data transfers over attached wirings. A 4th LED informs about the available power supply. The IGW/800 has been created especially to be used in an industrial field. Its small dimensions of 97×90×22.5 mm and the possibility of attaching it on a DIN-rail allows a fast and easy mounting in the switchgear cabinet.

Powerful Engine

The heart of the IGW/800 is a DIL/NetPC DNP/5282 with 32-bit Motorola Coldfire processor and 66 MHz clock rate. Thanks to the free programmability of the IGW/800, application programs, which can communicate only over serial interfaces, can be rerouted from the IGW/800 on TCP/IP communication. So these devices can be accessed via IP-Network as easily as if it was directly connected to a PC.
