About SSV Industrial Communication

SSV Industrial Communication is a product range of SSV Software Systems GmbH. Formed in 1982 the company has grown consistently. SSV designs and manufactures IT solutions for special task areas like industrial, trade and for scopes, in which standard equipment does not fit.

Within the new product range SSV offers DIL/NetPC-based communication products and solutions. By this step our customers can profit from the experiences gained in numerous DIL/NetPC based communication projects.

The systems offered within the range "Industrial Communication" preferably use Linux as Embedded operating system. Due to the use of uncountable servers on the Internet and to the GPL (General Public License) Linux is at present an operating system with unusually far developed abilities to communicate.

Thus several TCP/IP-able interfaces are supported and it can be fallen back on a wide range of security and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi extensions. As Linux is available in the source code and had a sophisticated configuration mechanism, this operating system is also usable on hardware platforms with small resources.
